and our mobile applications APOONA for Android and iOS systems;

or representative of a dental clinic, a denture clinic, a dental laboratory,
prosthetist or health service provider (User); or

a patient
(Patient) of a User;
We are bound by

(Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under that Act (collectively,
Privacy Act) and this Privacy Policy.
By accessing the
Website, by providing or having a User provide your personal information to
APOONA, whether online or offline, you agree that you are 16 years of age or
older and consent to our collection, use, holding and disclosure of your
personal information, including your sensitive information, in accordance with
and as set out in this Privacy Policy.
WHAT PERSONAL
INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE AND HOW
FOR VISITORS
If you are a
Visitor, we only collect personal information directly from you and only when
you provide it to us on the Website (i.e. entering information into a form or
making an enquiry such as via the ‘Contact Us’ page) and/or if you otherwise
contact us by email.
We use this
information to respond to your questions or requests. If you request further
information about our products and services, you consent to us sending you
direct marketing communications about our products and services. If at any time
you decide that you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us,

If you are a User, we collect your and/or your staff member’s personal

business name and business address when you open an account on the Website and
mobile applications (User Profile).

any individual’s (i.e. Patient’s) personal information with us, you warrant
that you have provided a copy of or link to this Privacy Policy and obtained the
individual’s prior consent to: (i) your disclosure of their personal
information to us; and (ii) our collection, use, holding and disclosure of
their personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
FOR PATIENTS
If you are a
Patient and provide your consent to the User (such as your dentist, dental
specialist, maxillofacial surgeon, dental technician, representative of a
dental clinic, a denture clinic, a dental laboratory, prosthetist or health
service provider) that we may be provided your personal information by (i.e.,
collect it from) the User. This happens where the User
wants to use our services as part of providing dental and/or healthcare
services to you. For example, if you require an implant, the User will share
your name as well as a 3D x-ray and three-dimensional models of your mouth
including teeth, gum, jaw bones and surrounding tissues with us, so we can undertake
an assessment and produce a report and/or model surgical guide tailored to your
needs.
If you believe your
information has been provided to us in error or is inaccurate, please contact
us using the details in Our contact information below and we will, if
appropriate, delete or correct the personal information we hold about you.
Specifically, we collect your name and computer data containing 3D x-ray and
three-dimensional models of your mouth including teeth, gum, jaw bones and
surrounding tissues which is health information and therefore sensitive
information.
We use this
information to perform the functions of our business, including the analysis of
your dental needs and, where applicable, to provide a report and/or manufacture
the surgical guides for implants or other dental prostheses. Without this
information we may not be able to provide services to assist your dentist, dental
specialist, maxillofacial surgeon, dental technician, representative of a
dental clinic, a denture clinic, a dental laboratory, prosthetist or health
service provider.
HOW WE SHARE
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
In order to
perform our business functions, we will disclose your personal information to
our related entities and/or third parties. The types of third parties we may
disclose your personal information to include:

your dentist,
dental specialist, maxillofacial surgeon, dental technician, representative of
a dental clinic, a denture clinic, a dental laboratory, prosthetist or health
service provider, if you are a Patient of such;

permitted or required by law.
We will only
transfer your personal information to third party entities located in Australia.
While we use these third party tools
ourselves (and do not disclose your personal information to these third parties
for their own use), we review the privacy and security arrangements of our
third party service providers (such as our data storage, website and domain
hosting providers) and control the data stored by our third party services
providers, in some cases it is technically possible for them to access and
receive data containing your personal information.
We note that all related entities we

you decide that you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us

up to date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent

for making such a request, but we may charge a reasonable fee for responding to
a request. We will respond to your request within 30 days of receiving it. If
we cannot or will not fulfil your request for any reason, we will write back to
you and explain why.
SECURITY OF YOUR
PERSONAL INFORMATION
We take reasonable
steps to keep our information systems and your personal information secure from
